Zoo Trip

For Luke's birthday (and spring break) we decided to take the kiddos to the zoo in Omaha. We went with our good friends, the Reynolds, who are always good company.
Here's Addy comparing herself to the largest of the penguins...
and Luke comparing himself to one of the smallest.
All their exhibits were AMAZING but I think one of my favorites had to be the huge jungle exhibit. It's like walking into a real jungle with monkeys, tapirs, crocodiles, etc. all over the place. Luke and Mia both enjoyed swinging on vines.
Mia showing her love for the gorillas.
The more kids we have, the more I realize how difficult it is to get a picture of all of them actually looking at the camera and making a normal face. Three out of four's not bad.
Close to the end of the day, the girls asked to check out the petting zoo. As you can tell from the picture, Luke was not a fan. He got semi-attacked by a goat who tried to eat the remaining goldfish out of the bottom of our stroller. We had a great day. It was a ton of fun and lots of walking. I would highly recommend this zoo to anyone passing through Nebraska. It was definitely worth the drive and the overnight stay in Omaha.

Your children are adorable, Christy. Omaha's not that far away from us...well, it's pretty far away but when we drive out West we'll have to make a stop there. The zoo sounds awesome.

Always fun to check in on your blog.
