Oh, what do you do in the summertime?

We make flowers out of catalogs Mom is about to throw away.
We play with play dough for long periods of time (if Mom is lucky).
We even make our own play dough in our favorite colors (blue, green, pink and purple).
Mia, of course, chose pink.
We break the rules and stay up way too late and have sleepovers, even with our little brother sometimes sleeping in our bed.
We make a "whale" of a cardhouse (courtesy of Halle).
We pick lots and lots of flowers, some of which we are allowed to and some of which we are not. But we pick them all anyway.
We practice all the wonderful skills our Dad has taught us, including how to burn things with a magnifying glass. Here we are trying to roast marshmallows with one but the sun kept deciding to hide behind a cloud. Don't worry, though. We still burnt lots of pieces of mulch, spiders, papers, etc. If you have any more fun ideas of what to do in the summertime, please share them with us.

You are officially a really, really cool mom. Loved the flowers. . . Hannah would like instructions please. And a playdoh recipe. :)

Cute flowers! I think we'll steal that one for our craft day next week. You're always so clever!
