A week ago Ryan was traveling back from Orlando and made a new friend in the Atlanta airport. iCarly happens to be one of our family's favorite kid shows. We watch it as a family every now and then and laugh at all the funny hijinks. Spencer (aka my brother, Scott) is one of our favorite characters on the show but we thought it was pretty fun that he ran into Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) herself. Ryan told her his daughters would be very upset if he didn't get a picture with her. When he texted us the pic, even Luke was excited and asked if Freddy and Sam were at the airport, too. That made me laugh.
Needless to say, the girls thought it was pretty fun. It's not Justin Bieber or anything but still earned Ryan some cool dad points.

Jeff and I secretly watch iCarly when the girls are in bed (not many options on AFN at 7:30) so yes, nice job Ryan. p.s. Spencer is our favorite too.

Livy: (age 9, the typical pre-'tween') "Aww, lucky!"
Elle: (age 4, class clown) "Haha! So did they kiss?!"
JD: (age 3, always trying to keep up even if he has no clue what's going on) "wowwww . . ."
Gavin (age 3 months, just a sweet little babe) Well, he didn't seem to care much, just continued trying to stick his whole fist on his mouth and seemed annoyed that everyone else was suddenly crowding his space.
haha. Tell Ryan he is the coolest dad for 1.Even knowing who she was 2.Recognizing her anywhere other than on Nickelodeon and 3.Having the guts to ask her for a picture for his girls! He rocks!!
